"Check Your Ego at the Door"
“There’s no ‘I’ in ‘Team’” might sound like a corny cliché, but it’s true. In this video, Glenn tells the story of how legendary music producer Quincy Jones got 45 of America’s top musicians to leave their ego behind to produce a record for charity. Each was greeted at the door by Stevie Wonder, who warned them that if the recording was not completed in one take, he and Ray Charles (two blind men) would drive everybody home. The song sold over 20 million copies and became the eighth best-selling physical single of all time.
